Our privacy policy
What we collect, why we need it, who helps us run the site, how long we keep it and the rights you have over it. Last updated: 29 October 2026.
Your privacy in plain words
We use what you share with us to reply to you, to build and support your website and to keep the site secure. We do not sell personal information, and optional cookies stay off until you choose them.
This policy is published by Metro Pars ("we" or "us"). It covers the information we receive through this website and through our services.
What we collect
- From the consultation form: your name, your phone number or email, your type of business, how you prefer to be contacted and anything you tell us about your business.
- Messages: the emails and messages you send us.
- If you become a client: your account details, billing details, the project files and content you share with us, and your support tickets.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit. Our hosting and security providers collect this so they can run the site and protect it.
Card payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
How we use it
- To reply to you and hold your consultation.
- To deliver and support the website you ordered.
- To send you invoices and receipts.
- To keep the site secure.
- To measure how the site is used, but only if you consent.
Legal bases for visitors in the EU and UK
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we rely on one of these legal bases each time we use your information:
- Consent: optional cookies and marketing emails.
- Contract: delivering an order you have placed.
- Legitimate interests: keeping the site secure and answering your enquiries.
- Legal obligation: keeping tax records.
Who we share it with
We rely on service providers in these categories, and they receive the information they need to do their part:
- website hosting
- a content delivery and security network
- email delivery
- payment processing
- analytics, only with your consent
We do not sell personal information.
These providers may store data in Canada, the United States or other countries. We choose providers that protect data in line with the law that applies.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not turn into a project are deleted within 24 months.
- Client records are kept for as long as we need them to provide the service and to meet tax law. Canadian tax law generally requires business records to be kept for six years.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- stop using it where you gave consent, by withdrawing that consent.
If you are in the EU or the UK, you can also object to how we use your information, ask us to restrict its use, and ask for a copy in a portable format.
To make any of these requests, email [email protected]. We answer within 30 days.
You can also complain to the privacy regulator where you are:
- Canada: the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada
- European Union: your local data protection authority
- United Kingdom: the Information Commissioner's Office
- Australia: the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner
- United States: you can use the rights your state gives you
