Shopper choosing products in a supermarket

Food and hospitality

Persian and English websites for grocery stores and supermarkets

Shoppers want to know whether you carry their saffron, rice or feta before they drive over, and some would rather order it online. We build a bilingual store that puts your shelves online with Persian and English names on every product.

What your clients look for

What a website for grocery stores and supermarkets has to get right

Hundreds of products, no time

Entering every item with a photo and price is not something an owner gets to between receiving stock and running the till.

Calls asking what is in stock

Customers phone to ask whether dried limes or barberries have arrived, because they cannot check anywhere online.

Two names for every item

One customer searches for sabzi khoshk, another for dried herbs. If your site uses only one of those names, some shoppers never find the item.

What we build

What your website includes

All of it in Persian and English, with copy we write for your business and you approve before launch.

A store organized like your aisles

Products sit in categories such as rice and legumes, spices, dairy, snacks and bread, each named in both languages.

Product upload done for you

Send us your product list and photos, and we enter each item with its price, description and category.

Listings in search shopping

A product feed connects your store to the shopping section of search engines, with prices and stock kept up to date automatically.

Map and search profile

Your address, phone and hours on maps and search match the website and link back to it.

Product pages in both languages

Every item has a Persian and an English page, so each shopper finds it under the name they know.

A photo on every product

The photos you send are added to each product page, and every page is checked after upload.

Questions

Questions about websites for grocery stores and supermarkets

Do I have to enter every product myself?

No. With the product upload add-on, you send your list and photos through the client portal and we enter them, at $4 CAD per product. You can start with your best sellers and add the rest later.

What does a grocery store website cost?

We recommend the eCommerce package at $2,890 CAD, fixed and before tax. Add-ons such as search shopping listings and the map profile have their own fixed prices on the add-ons page.

Will every product appear in search shopping?

Search engines set their own rules for which products they accept, and the final decision is theirs. If a product is turned down, we go through the reason with you.

How do I keep prices and stock current?

You change prices and stock yourself from the store's admin area. If you have the shopping feed, its prices and stock update automatically too.

How long does the store take?

Building the store takes 5 working days once your brief and payment are complete. With a large catalogue, have your product list ready before you start.
